Seeing inside

Look inside a computer without taking it apart.

Cosmic-ray muons pass through solid stone, and scientists use them to map what's inside. Muon Insight does the same job for a Windows computer. It looks through the hardware, the operating system and the apps on top, and shows you which layer has the problem.

    27 read-only diagnostics, from BitLocker and machine certificates to Windows Update, DNS, drivers and printers.

    Repair, with confirmation

    15 actions such as DISM RestoreHealth, DNS repair and print spooler reset. Nothing changes until you confirm.

    Local or remote

    Work on the computer in front of you, or over WinRM with your own signed-in Windows identity. 49 of 55 modules run remotely.

    Troubleshooting packs

    11 packs run a curated set of modules in one go: network, printers, Group Policy, hardware, system image and more. Build your own.

    Plain-language findings

    Every result comes back as OK, warning or critical, with an explanation and a suggested fix. A rules engine interprets the raw data.

    Export JSON, CSV, branded HTML or a ZIP support bundle, with configurable redaction.
